eCommerce Website Launch for Cable Kits

Our website design company has recently launched a brand new ecommerce website for our friends over at Cable Kits (a company who sells handlebar kits for Harley Davidson bikes).

Cable Kits prides themselves in manufacturing only the highest quality parts, made directly here in the USA. Their methods are tried and true, hand 'crafted right here in the red, white and blue.' They provide only top quality handlebar and installation kits for Harley Davidson motorcycles.

After having tremendous success of selling their handlebar kits through avenues like eBay...they owners decided it was time to create their very own eCommerce website where their customers can buy products directly from their website, and they don't have to pay any additional third-party fees.

The Inspiration Behind The eCommerce Website Design

Our team at MBM Agency had so much fun working with Cable Kits in their website. While their primary audience is male, and many of their competitors had very basic, block-colored websites. We wanted to get creative with the design details of the website that truly helped them stand out from (literally) every competitor out there.

We kept the darker colors (dark grey, and blacks), but we used a burnt orange (which was inspired by the Harley logo) as an accent color to add a little spunk to the site. You may also notice that in some of the sections on the homepage...instead of having a dark background behind product highlights and testimonials...we added a dark texture metal background. This simple detail helps the website design stand out from the competition in a luxury way.

In additional to creating a sophisticated website design, we also created (and custom coded) and search bar feature! This feature took many hours of coding from our developers, and a few tries to get it just right. BUT WE DID IT! When a potential customer logon to Cable Kit's website...they can select which type of bike they have, what year, what model, etc. The website will pull up every product that Cable Kits has for your specific bike.
