Everyone knows that a website is important, most marketers out there say that a website is the first thing that you should focus on when starting your business.
But have you ever stopped and thought to yourself WHY?
Because there many people out there who paid for a website (or maybe designed it themselves), and it’s just out there floating in the cyber universe but they are not actually getting anything from it.
A website SHOULD give you an opportunity to show up in front of a relevant audience. A website SHOULD be bringing you in consistent leads. But for some reason this is not the case for most people. That is why you may be googling, "how to generate more leads."

1. Your Website Can't Be Found on Google
The top reason why your website is not bringing you in any leads is because it can’t be found in Google’s search results.
EVERYONE uses Google nowadays for E V E R Y T H I N G. If your website doesn’t show up on the first page of Google, you are missing out on a lot of potential eyes on your services.
So how the heck can you find out if your website is optimized for Google’s search results?
You can use my favorite FREE SEO tool called Ubersuggest. Input your website’s URL and it will give you a breakdown of your SEO “score,” if you are showing up for any keywords, and which page you are showing up on Google’s search results. This tool is so eye-opening and a great place to get started to see if you need to put some focus in on SEO.
